Very collectible Nancy Drew mystery by Carolyn Keene, The Secret in the Old Attic, in good condition.This is the Grosset & Dunlap hardcover edition copyright 1944, and appears to be FIRST EDITION, as there is no indication of a previous printing or copyright. Covers are in suprisingly good shape considering its age, although the pages are somewhat "browned." The endpapers are decorated with orange silhouettes. Otherwise no markings, inscriptions, or torn pages. Even though this price is in line for what antique bookstores would charge for this rare book, we are open to offers! E-mail us with yours if you are really interested. A must for the avid Nancy Drew collector.

This is the Grosset & Dunlap "The Dana Girls Mystery Stories" edition copyright 1940. Purple hardcover, black titles front & spine, turquoise top edge, green illustrated endpapers. This is an old school library book with inscriptions and stampings on the title page, and library card pocket in the back. Cover shows considerable wear with the cover paper separating at the spine. Pages are somewhat "browned," and some slightly torn along the bottom. Although this price is in line for what antique bookstores would charge for this rare book, we are open to offers!
